Dear Parents/Guardians,
All schools will be open tomorrow, Monday, September 14, 2020. We have been connecting with the Public Health authorities who have confirmed the following direction:
- With the current Air Quality at 10+ we discourage vigorous activities like planned PE classes outdoors.
- Students can still go outside during recess and lunch if they can tolerate the air, and otherwise will be provided with space to remain inside.
- Anyone with asthma may feel the poor Air Quality more than others and may remain indoors.
- The school COVID safety plan should be followed for everyone to maintain appropriate distancing while staying indoors, the same as a day with heavy rain.
We will hope for improved air quality by tomorrow. Please be assured that we will continue to follow all health and safety guidelines as provided by the public health authorities related to both AIR QUALITY warnings and COVID-19. Thank you all for such an excellent first week of school last week!
